A fantastic way to catch up with friends or treat yourself!
I booked the Endota July special for a friend’s birthday. We don’t often get the chance to spend time together so travelling there and back by train gives us a chance to catch up. Unfortunately, my friend wasn’t able to come as she was sick, so I went myself! (The July Special Offer is a 45-min organic massage & 45-min organic facial for $150* (*Valid Monday to Friday from July 1 - 31.)
It was the most relaxing day I’ve had for a while!
When I arrived I was welcomed and given a tour of the facilities. I indulged in a sauna and steam before my treatment - It wasn’t warm enough for me to venture outside to the spa and pool, even though they're heated! I had a quick rinse off in the rain shower and used the Appelles body wash and body lotion which both smell divine. While I waited for my therapist I enjoyed a cup of soothing rosehip tea and relaxed in the lounge.
Anna was my therapist and she was lovely. The treatment started with a grounding and aroma ritual and then a soothing massage. Next was the 45-minute organic facial and my skin glowed and felt amazing afterwards. I loved the facial massage technique using jade rollers. (Coming soon to Restore Face Body Soul!)
This is the perfect place for a relaxing day out with friends, hen’s day or special birthday treat. You can spend the day by the pool and enjoy the luxury of the spa, sauna and steam room. But be aware that Endota Spa is a franchise with different locations, facilities and owners. Although they all offer the same treatments, the standards may vary.
How to get there:
If you’re brave enough to navigate traffic and the George Street light rail construction you can book discounted valet parking, 4 hours for $20. I’d recommend the train though - it’s just a few minutes' walk from Circular Quay to the Four Seasons and lots more relaxing! I leave my car at Wollongong or Sutherland commuter carparks.
Plan to arrive early to give yourself even more "me time" with complimentary use of the sauna, steam room, outdoor heated pool and spa. Don’t forget your swim wear!
Why I chose Endota Four Seasons:
I’d been before when I stayed at Four Seasons and loved it, so my friend wanted to try it for her birthday. The facilities are beautiful - sauna and steam room inside, with an outdoor spa and pool, surrounded by lounges and private cabanas to soak up some sun or escape from the wind. Room service is available if you want lunch and/or drinks by the pool - during the busier summer months the Cabana is open for snacks and drinks.
What to expect:
On arrival you’ll be warmly welcomed and given a tour of the facilities. There’s lockers to store your things and you’re given a fluffy robe and slippers to change into. Towels and bottled water are complimentary and you can relax with a cup of rosehip tea before your treatment. Leave yourself time to make use of the steam room, sauna, pool and spa before your treatment.
How to book:
I booked via email after receiving their special offer in my inbox. You need to confirm your booking with a credit card, so I phoned for that. (Don't ever email your card details - it’s not secure!). There’s a 50% charge for bookings cancelled within 24 hours.
Outdoor pool and spa, steam room and sauna indoors. Showers with Appelles toiletries, lots of fluffy towels, robes, fridge with bottled water, hairdryers, toothbrushes, hand and body lotion.
