FAQ's about Restore

These are some of the questions I'm asked frequently about Restore Face Body Soul. If you have any questions that aren't answered here, please email me or use the chat box below.

I strive to provide the level of service and experience that I'd like to receive for myself, so any feedback is welcome.

Why is there a 50% deposit to confirm my appointment?

This is a new policy I’ve needed to implement after quite a few last minute cancellations. I understand that things happen unexpectedly but when an appointment is booked that time is set aside especially for you. If you forget or decide to do something else it means that I run at a loss. Which means that I wouldn’t be in business for very long ! If you are sick or have an emergency and need to reschedule your appointment at the last minute I’m happy to to that, but please respect my time and business.

How long have you been a Beauty Therapist?

About 7 years and I’ve worked from my current address for over 5 years. I also have qualifications as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and a Fitness Instructor. I’m passionate about natural, healthy living and I love being able to share that with my clients.

How often should I have a facial? 

As our skin renews every 28 days , a once a month facial is ideal. However this isn’t always possible so I recommend a facial at least 4 time a year with each seasonal change.

How often do my brows need doing?

It’s an individual thing as we’re all unique, but the average is every 4 weeks. 

What should I expect during my first visit to Restore Face Body Soul? 

First of all, don't be nervous! I get that you’ve had an ordinary facial or a ‘ bad’ brow experience. It’s happened to me as well. My goal is to give each client the experience that I would want for myself. You can see my reviews here or on Facebook or Google. If you’re not happy with your experience, please let me know and I’ll do my best to make it up to you.

Do I have to buy a bunch of expensive products?

I do have a Skin Care Collection but I'm not a sales person :)  I'm more interested in you using the products you already have, but I’m happy to make recommendations for a simple and effective Restore Skincare routine.

I work during the week, do you have evening or weekend appointments?

Yes - I’m available alternate Saturday’s, Thursday evening and alternate Friday evenings.

How come no one answers the phone when I call?

I don't have a receptionist, it's just me and I’m usually with a client. Appointments can be scheduled online and I respond to texts and emails twice each day - morning and evening. If you leave a voice message I’ll return your call, (usually in the evening after my work day finishes) but I don’t return missed calls.

Can I bring my children?

No. I love kids, but it is not suitable to have them in the studio. This will distract me from giving you the best treatment and is less relaxing for you. (There are also a lot of valuable/hazardous things for them to touch.) Please book a time when you are child free.

Why is there a fee for last minute cancellations?

When you book an appointment that time is reserved especially for you. Appointments cancelled with less that 48 hours notice incur a 50% cancellation fee as it is very hard to fill appointments at the last minute and I run at a loss. If I'm able to fill that appointment your fee is refunded in full.

What happens of I'm late?

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes after their appointment time may be rescheduled as it is not always possible to give adequate service in the remaining time.
